2018 has been a big year so far as far as celebrity marriages go. In spite of constant denying and all the secrecy, we saw first Anushka tying the knot with Superstar cricketer Virat Kohli and then very soon it was Sonam Kapoor, who got married to long time beau Anand Ahuja in a grand three day wedding extravaganza. There are so many other Bollywood couples who are still not ready to confirm their relationship status, but there are rumors about quite a few of them being ready to get married this year.

One of the most talked about couple in this list is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Both are at the peak of their careers and look really cute together. Since they signed the movie Brahmastra, which went on the floor some time back, the two of them have been constantly seen together at parties, functions and even late nights at each other’s homes. For a long time, though, there was no confirmation from their side about these rumors.


Grand Appearance At Sonam’s Wedding A Confirmation Of Sorts


Sonam’s wedding was a grand affair and almost the entire Bollywood industry was present there. However, one thing that caught everyone’s attention during this wedding was the big entry of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt together. The way they walked in holding each other’s hand for this wedding seemed like a confirmation of the fact that they are now a couple, officially.

After months of denying and hiding, Ranbir Kapoor finally decided to spill the beans and during an interview confirmed that he and Alia were in fact in a relationship. Although he did say that the relationship was new and needed more time and space, but all Alia and Ranbir fans are already rejoicing and hoping for yet another grand wedding in 2018 itself. In fact, during an appearance on popular show Aap Ki Adalat, Alia also said that she and Ranbir were more than friends, thereby confirming what all of us already knew.

It is believed by many that the biggest cause of the fallout between Ranbir Kapoor and his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif was the disapproval of Ranbir’s mom and yesteryears great actress Nitu Kapoor. In fact, not just with Katrina, Nitu Kapoor has been openly skeptical about many other women in Ranbir’s life.

However, things look different this time. Nitu has been spotted hanging out with Alia on more than one occasion. Nitu Kapoor is also found liking and appreciating Alia on various social media platforms.
